Father of the late Ibrahim Tusubira Lubega alias Isma Olaxes, Hajji Muhammad Kasagga Mutabliiki, has revealed that he will not go to the police to give a statement in order to get his son’s belongings.

Hajji Kasagga says that Isma’s house is open and that the police refused to let them remove his belongings.

“The house where Isma was staying in Kyanja, was found open. But the Police denied us access claiming it’s a crime scene and I had to make a statement before entering it,” Hajji Kasagga said.

The only thing they want to do, according to Hajji Kasagga, is remove the deceased’s possessions from the house so that the landlord can take over.

He fears that if the police have already refused to give him household items, they will also refuse to give him the Toyota Hiace, which is the vehicle in which the deceased was killed.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, State House Comptroller Jane Barekye delivered President Yoweri Museveni’s condolences to Olaxes’ father, Hajji Muhammad Kasajja, and mother, Hajjat Kasajja, at their home in Zzana, along Entebbe Road.

Isma was gunned down last Saturday near his home in Kyanja. He was laid to rest on Sunday in Katwe-Nkokonjeru, Buikwe district.

So far, the police have arrested three suspects including the deceased’s driver.
