FUFA announces jobs that are up for grabs

The local football governing body, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has opened up applications for the job of Uganda national teams.

“FUFA is seeking competent and qualified technical personnel to fill vacant positions of Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Goalkeeping Coaches and Fitness Trainers for the National teams of Women and Men’s Junior sides,” reads the statement in part.

It adds, “Jobs are open to Ugandans and Non-Ugandans. Coaches who have been holders of these positions are eligible to apply and these are full-time jobs. The application process is now open from 1st-12th May 2023.”

“Only applications sent by email and received on vacancy@fufa.co.ug by 17:00Hrs on Friday 12th May 2023 will be considered.”

A month ago, the FUFA executive committee confirmed that all National team technical positions are vacant with the exception of the Uganda Cranes.

Coaches can now apply for the following categories;

•Uganda U23 (Kobs)

•Junior Teams (Men)– U20 (The Hippos), U17 (The Cubs) and U15 (The Rhinos)

•Women Teams -Crested Cranes, U20 (Queen Cranes) and U17 (Teen Cranes)

•Other Teams – Beach Soccer (Sand Cranes) and Futsal (Nile Cranes)
