Socialite Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya’s relationship has been known to the public since last year.
The couple has decided to make it official. Reports indicate that the couple exchanged vows in a private nikkah ceremony. Nikkah is a ceremony that validates marriage in Islam.
A short video of the ceremony is making the rounds on social media. Shakib can be seen putting a ring on Zari’s finger in the video.
Many people were surprised by the ceremony, which is said to have taken place in South Africa with a small group of attendees.
Zari hasn’t yet posted about the ceremony on her social media pages, but Shakib couldn’t help but show his excitement as he shared a brief video clip of the nikkah with the caption “Love wins.”
Zari started dating Shakib Lutaaya after breaking up with GK Choppa in 2022. The 42-year-old socialite was first seen with Lutaaya in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Zari has five children from two marriages.
