Retired High Court judge Wilson Masalu Musene is dead

The retired Justice of the High Court Wilson Masalu Musene has died, according to the judiciary.

His death occurred this evening in Mbale.

Reports indicate that the retired judge, aged 67 succumbed to hypertension after a long illness.

Funeral arrangements are to be announced, according to the judiciary.

Justice Musene officially retired on March 6, 2021, after clocking 65 years. However, the Constitution allowed him three more extra months to wind up any pending chamber work.
