VIDEO: Kampala tycoons pledge millions of shillings at wedding meeting

One of Kampala’s tycoons, Paul Mulundannume Ssembatya and his fiance Milly Nakibala launched their wedding meetings over the weekend.

The video of the wedding launch has since gone viral on social media after several city tycoons were captured pledging millions of shillings.

In the video, the Chairman of Kwagalana Grou,p Godfrey Kirumira, who happens to also be the chairman of the wedding committee pledged Shs50 million on behalf of Kwagalana Group.

Businessman Hamis Kiggundu, who disclosed that Mulundannume is his Godfather in business pledged Shs100 million.

Another man who didn’t identify himself gave the couple Shs50 million. Winnie Mabirizi, the widow of Godfrey Mabirizi, the owner of Mabirizi Complex, offered Shs2 million.

Businessman Richard Kakonge and his family gave cash of Shs12 million. Another tycoon only identified as Ssegawa and his family contributed Shs10 million.

John Mugisha and his family offered to buy all the meat that would run the function till the honeymoon.

Different business people kept flying in millions of pledges.

For those who don’t know Paul Mulundannume SSembatya, he operates multiple businesses in Kikuubo, arguably Kampala’s biggest wholesale shopping hub.

He is also the owner of Ssembatya Arcade on Nabugabo Road, Kampala.
