Qute Kaye, a well-known singer, left rehab three years ago to start a new life after beating his drug addiction. He has since been spreading the good news of sobriety.

This week, a video of Abbey Gift Kyambadde alias Gift Ov Kaddo has been making the rounds on social media. Kaddo complained in the video that he is not given enough credit despite being one of Africa’s top musicians.

“All my music is good. Compare my music with the likes of Diamond Platnumz, and Wizkid. If my songs are bad for you, do not play them. My music is for my children, they will listen to it. You will appreciate us when we die, but I am a living legend because I have very good music,” said Kaddo.

Kaddo’s statements caused some of the social media users to argue that he needed urgent medical attention as he might be going through some mental issues.

Singer Qute Kaye seems to be agreeing with the fans’ recommendations. Kaye says that Kaddo might be going through some terrible situation.

“Our young brother Kaddo was trying to pass a message to you that he needs help and It’s now upon you to assist him in whichever way possible,” said Qute Kaye during an interview on a local television.

He added, “Ugandans should come out and try to assist him how they can. His situation is not laughable at all. Most Ugandans don’t like helping but can afford mockery, which is bad.”

Kaye further disclosed that his charity organization, Another Chance, will be visiting Kaddo this Saturday.
