Uganda’s representative in this year’s CAF Champions League, Vipers Sports Club will this evening be playing his last group stage match.

The Venoms play away against Mali’s Horoya Athletic Club in Bamako at 7 pm.

Though both teams cannot make it to the next round, there is more to play for. The Kitende-based Vipers SC will be hoping they can sign out with a victory and finish third in the group.

The win will also be Vipers’ first-ever group-stage victory in the competition.

As it stands, Vipers is fourth with two points while Horoya has four points. Raja Casablanca and Simba already made it to the knockout stage.

The first leg between Vipers and Horoya at St Mary’s Kitende ended in a barren stalemate.
