Dan Magic: “Nalumansi” was produced by Uganda’s best audio producers

A number of social media users, including well-known music analysts, came out and criticized the audio quality of Bobi Wine’s most recent song, “Nalumansi,” after it was released last week.

Despite the song’s popularity (due to his political influence) and over 300,000 YouTube views in less than 20 days, some believe Bobi Wine and his producer Dan Magic have become out of touch with the country’s music trends.

Eddie Sendi, a seasoned music critic, stated that the song has a positive message but urged Bobi Wine to have faith in the new generation of producers.

However, while speaking in an interview, producer Dan Magic, who has been producing most of Bobi Wine’s songs said that three more producers were actively involved in the creation of the song.

“By the way, I didn’t produce that song alone, at Firebase, we do as a team when it comes to Bobi Wine’s songs,” said Dan Magic.

He added, “For “Nalumansi,” I worked with Paddy Man and Tony Houls. These are among the best producers in the country.”

Dan Magic believes that they did a good job on the song; however, those who criticize it are merely expressing their political rage.

The producer also thinks that some listeners simply failed to understand the song’s message.
