Former Wakiso Giants attacking midfielder Ibrahim ‘Owen’ Kasule is out of the country to complete his move to New York Red Bulls.

Reports indicate that the midfielder, who is a free agent after suddenly ending his contract with Turkish side Ankara Keciorengucu, is expected to seal a deal with New York Red Bulls II, a team coached by former Uganda Cranes captain Ibrahim Ssekagya.

Once his move is confirmed, he will be the third Ugandan player to join the club as Steven Sserwadda and former Wakiso Giants teammate Frank Ssebuufu are already at the club.
