NTV journalist dies in Entebbe expressway accident

NTV journalist Edward Muhumuza has died in a car crash along Entebbe Expressway.

The accident happened around 8:20 am at Mpala opposite Mpala Road Toll along Kampala-Entebbe express highway.

Muhumuza was driving a Passo with registration number UBG 323S. It’s alleged he lost control of his vehicle and went off the road, knocked signpost and overturned several times, killing him on the spot.

According to reports, Muhumuza was driving to Nkumba University to attend lectures. He was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and public relations.

His body has been taken to City Mortuary Mulago for postmortem.

He worked with Vision Group before joining NTV.
