Man receives Shs1.1 million as “heartbreak insurance fund” after girlfriend cheated on him

A man has shared how he got Rs 25,000 (about Shs1.1 million) because his girlfriend cheated on him.

Prateek Aryan, a Twitter user, described how he and his girlfriend made monthly deposits of Rs 500 (roughly Sh22,000) into a joint account.

Their deal was that whoever gets cheated on will get all the money deposited in what he termed as the “Heartbreak Insurance Fund”.

“I got Rs 25000 because my girlfriend cheated on me. When Our relationship started we deposited a monthly Rs 500 each into a joint account during relationship and made a policy that whoever gets cheated on , will walk away with all money. That is Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF),” Aryan wrote.

The tweet has gained a lot of attention, and other Twitter users are intrigued by the “Heartbreak Insurance Fund” concept and want to give it a try.
