The search for Miss Uganda 2023 now in Kampala

The journey to find the most beautiful woman in Uganda is getting more interesting, all eyes are on Kampala contestants as we conduct the last auditions this week.


Final Auditions will be held in Kampala City at ISBAT University located at Lugogo bypass. The beautiful journey started with West Nile in Arua city for “Miss Uganda West Nile”, Northern in Gulu City, Fort Portal for “ Miss Uganda Western “, Masaka City for “ Miss Uganda Central” and Lastly Kampala city.


Kampala Auditions are unique in the sense that, any eligible contestant can take part irrespective of their regions of origin. Kampala task will start with Eastern Northern and WestNile Region contestants on 8th Feb and on 9th Feb it’s all about Western and Central contestants.

To refresh your mind the exercise is open to all Ugandan Citizens who meet requirements such as female gender between the age of 18-25 years, minimum A ‘Level certificate of Education, not married among others.

The 2023 Edition is themed “Beauty Beyond looks”, As opposed to the previous versions, Miss Uganda 2023 is entertainment reality TV show on StarTimes Makula TV Ch228/492 dubbed “Journey to the crown”.

The show documents every small detail of what transpires in the different regions during the Auditions.
Airing on Makula TV every Friday at 8:50 PM and on Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 PM, the viewer have the chance to witness what transpired during the regional search as a precursor to the residential Boot Camp activities; the Beauty and Fashion contests, the Beach Beauty and Sports Challenge, Adventure and Talent contests.

The show will also have periodical evictions, confession sessions and audience interactivity; and finally, the Crowning Ceremony (Grand Finale).
