Golola Moses to battle Kassim Ouma in a 10-round fight

Moses Golola of Uganda will battle Kassim Ouma “the Dream” in a middleweight fight this year.

The fight will take place at Aponye Mall, Kampala City, in early May 2023 (the exact date yet to be confirmed). The fight was officially launched at the Food Court Restaurant on Aponye City Mall on Tuesday.

Golola promised his fans victory against the former IBF Junior world champion.

“I am the number one in the country, Ouma is number four, and so he cannot beat me. Ouma is going to face it rough against the country’s number one.

He added, “I hail Ouma for raising the Ugandan flag, but this time he will be facing Golola Moses. He organized a fight on the same day as me, but it rained on his side. I assure you it’s not going to rain this time.”

Ouma also vowed to knockdown Golola before the tenth round.

“I am going to discipline Golola; he is the best kickboxer in the country, but he is going to suffer against me. Golola will not make ten rounds; if he does, then that will be a victory on his side, but I don’t see that happening,” said Ouma.

Ouma is due to travel back to Germany early next month and embark on preparations for the fight. He revealed that he is going to be training with Muzamir Kakande and John Odoch while in Germany before returning for the fight in April.

The legendary boxer had his prime in early 2000 up to around 2006. He has a total of 41 professional fights, 29 Wins (18 by K.O.), and 10 losses. His Knock out percentage is rated at 44%.
