“I have done a lot for Nicole,” Kafta Queen pleads for forgiveness

18-year-old Kafta Queen, one of the suspects in Pretty Nicole’s assault, has been arraigned this afternoon before Kira Chief Magistrate Rose Nsenge over aggravated torture.

Before the court session began, “Kafta Queen,” who was recently filmed beating up a 14-year-old teenager (Pretty Nicole) over a man, admitted to her acts, saying all she did was out of anger.

She asked for forgiveness.

“I know it is my fault, and I admit that, but still, I request that Nicole finds space in her heart to forgive me for what I did,” said Kafta.

She added, “For the time we have been friends, I have done a lot for her, including helping her to have a place to sleep at the time when her parents banished her from their home.”

Meanwhile, relatives and friends from both sides were all present inside the court.

According to the charge sheet, Queen Kafta, a Tanzanian national, and others still at large, on January 8, 2023, at Nsasa Kira Municipality in Wakiso district, inflicted injuries on Pretty Nicole Eseza, a female juvenile, causing her grievous harm and accusing her of being in love with her boyfriend, Derrick Lwanga.

Kafta has been charged with aggravated torture and remanded until January 31, 2023, when she will reappear in court for further mention of the case.
