Ganda Boys on a world tour to celebrate Uganda’s heritage

With a massive collaboration on a recording of the Buganda National Anthem, “Ekitiibwa kya Buganda,” the Ganda Boys music group has taken another significant step toward organizing choirs from all six continents of the world to join together in a cultural celebration of Uganda’s heritage.

Last month, Ganda Boys released the first version of a recording of Ekitibwa Kya Buganda (the Buganda anthem) that was recently done at Audio Vision in Bogotá, Colombia.

The Bogotà Philharmonic Orchestra recorded the anthem with a new orchestral arrangement by Ganda Boys founder Craig Pruess. The final recording will be mixed by Grammy Award-winning Latino producer and engineer, Daniel Cortés.

The Ganda Boys (Denis Mugagga and Dan Sewagudde), who are based in the UK are starting their world tour today in South Korea.

Before traveling to San Francisco on January 17, the group will perform in Auckland, New Zealand, this Saturday.

On January 19, the former DaTwins will perform in Uganda to wrap up the tour.
