Uganda Medical Association president Dr. Samuel Oledo, who recently endorsed President Yoweri Museveni to run for another term, has been suspended from Uganda Medical Association for four years.
This was after 98% of eligible voters in the Uganda Medical Association cast a vote of no confidence in him.
Dr. Sam Oledo Odong is accused of participating in partisan politics following his recent remarks endorsing President Museveni to stand for another term in 2026.
The general meeting elected Dr. Edith Nakku-Joloba, who was Oledo’s vice president, as president.
