Michael Bakari Jordan, an American actor best known for his part in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” has acquired a minority stake in the Bournemouth football team of the English Premier League.
AFC Bournemouth announced that the Black Knight Football Club acquired the club from its former owner, Maxim Demin, according to the club’s news post.
Michael Bakari Jordan and his partner, Nullah Sarker, are set to work closely with Bill Foley, the Black Knight Football Club’s managing general partner, for the global marketing and internationalization of the club.
“Bill is committed to increased investment in Bournemouth’s first team as well as the academy and fan experience at Vitality Stadium,” said the club.
Bournemouth currently plays in the Premier League after winning promotion from the Championship last season.
Michael B. Jordan is an American actor, director, and producer. He has become prominent for his performances and roles in movies such as Black Panther Wakanda Forever, and Fantastic Four, among others.
