Prophet Samuel Kakande, the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Mulago, has asked his followers to donate money so he can purchase a new vehicle.
In the video making rounds on social media, Kakande is heard pleading with his followers to send him $300 or Shs1 million so he can purchase a new car.
Kakande claimed that while he desperately needs a new car, he is unable to afford one and is unable to use church funds because they are intended for other church-related purposes, such as the building of the church.
This Thursday is the planned date for the fundraiser.
Meanwhile, a video of Kakande selling “holy rice” for Sh50000 went viral in 2017. Social media was ablaze with anger over this.
His followers, however, asserted that the rice was indeed holy and that they could attest to the miracles that had occurred in their lives.
