Singer Hajjara Namukwaya better known as Spice Diana attacked the event organizer for putting the crowd far away from the stage.
While performing in Jinja over the weekend, the ‘Jangu Ondabe’ singer paused for a moment and asked why fans were far from the stage.
In the video making the rounds on social media, the singer is seen and heard asking about the organizers’ aim of putting the people far away from the stage, yet they had paid to see her.
She then asked the people to come closer, something the organizers disagreed with.
Spice Diana furiously jumped off the stage to attack one of the organizers.
Don’t disrespect me. “What do you want to do?” “I came here to sing for free people, not prisoners,” Spice Diana angrily said.
She further threatened to beat him up if he dared touch her before going back onstage, where she invited the people to all come close and enjoy her performance.
However, things escalated further as Spice Diana was bounced off the stage by the organizer’s team.
A fight ensued, with fans trying to save Spice Diana before the lights were switched off.
Meanwhile, Spice Diana is one of the female musicians who have in recent months been sexually assaulted by male fans.
There was even a time when Ugandan female musicians, including Spice Diana, condemned the act of event organizers allowing fans to come closer to the stage while they are performing.
It’s therefore confusing to see that it was Spice Diana calling for these fans to come closer to her.
