Mark Asiimwe, the ex-boyfriend of media personality Robinah Nambooze, alias Robin Kisti, has disclosed the reasons why they fell out just 10 months after she introduced him to her parents.

Earlier this week, the former NTV and STV presenter came out and announced their separation. She said they fell out because of private family matters.

Asiimwe has now given his side of the story, claiming that he is the one who dumped Kisti.

Speaking to local television in a phone interview, Asiimwe said that he left Kisti for a number of reasons.

“When you are a good person, some people take your kindness for weakness. That woman couldn’t listen to whatever I was saying. She even abuses you when you try to advise her.

And she was doing all that because she is older than me, so I said to myself, “This woman is mad. Let me leave her,” said Asiimwe.

He further explained that Kisti failed to overcome trauma from her past relationships.

“She has a lot of trauma from her past relationships. She is always complaining about her trauma.

“Someone has to change. We didn’t fight, as she told other people. I just slammed the door and left, and she started quarreling that I was violent,” he said.

Asiimwe also denied Kisti’s claims that she was the one investing much in the relationship.

“Even the business she’s involved in now, it’s me who gave her startup capital. I have done a lot for her,” Asiimwe said.

He added, “The rentals from which she collects Shs450,000, I make that in one day, and she wanted to be like me to spend it in a day.” So, that’s her other problem: competition. “

Asiimwe and Kisti have been planning to hold a wedding this year.
