It has been about four years ever since Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi, was blocked from performing or holding a concert here in Uganda for political reasons.
Since then, the singer has been focusing on his political party, known as the National Unity Platform. At the end of last week, news broke out that the singer will be joined by Nubian Li and they will have a performance in Qatar.
The show is organized by one of the top event promoters in Qatar, known as Rahim Baker.
According to Rahim, the show is for a good cause and not only for entertainment purposes.
Earlier in the week, Bobi Wine also took to his social media pages and announced that he will be performing in Qatar on October 6th and that the proceeds from the show will help Ugandans who are stranded in Qatar to get their way back home.
The show will take place at Sharq Village and Spa in Qatar.
