American actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo, recently got married for the fourth time. This is after she said yes to Hollywood actor Ben Affleck in a small, beautiful private wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in an intimate Las Vegas wedding on Saturday evening.
Lopez confirmed the good news through the JLo fan newsletter, where she wrote: “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out, love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
She added: “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
Lopez and Affleck started dating in 2021, months after the singer broke off an engagement with superstar baseball ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez.
Ben Affleck, who is best known for his role as Batman, is a Hollywood movie star and an award-winning filmmaker.
It is worthwhile to note that Affleck dated J Lo back in 2002 when they were on the set of the movie Gigli. They hit it off and became an iconic couple in Hollywood while serving couple goals for their fans.
After dating for some time, Affleck got down on his knees and proposed to the singer, but it didn’t last long as they broke off their engagement in 2004.
Years later, Ben Affleck, 49, and Jeniffer Lopez, 52, started dating again, got engaged, and are now officially married.
But it certainly isn’t the first wedding for the 52-year-old “Love don’t cost a thing” singer after previously tying the knot on three other occasions.
Jennifer’s first marriage was to Cuban-born waiter Ojani Noa. The pair wedded on February 22, 1997.
However, their marriage was short-lived as they divorced 11 months later.
On September 29, 2001, the singer married Cris Judd, her former backup dancer, at a private residence in Calabasas. Sadly, the pair pulled the plug on their marriage over a year later.
On June 5, 2004, she got married to Latin music star Marc Anthony, and this is her longest out of the four.
The pair was together for seven years and sired two children together.
Jennifer and Marc later got divorced on July 15, 2011. The pair still remain close friends, as they co-parent their two children.
