Uganda Cranes, left-back Mustafa Kizza has completed his move to Portuguese top-tier club Arouca FC.
The 22-year-old signed a two-year deal, according to the club statement on Friday.
Kizza has been a free agent since October last year after MLS side Montreal Impact terminated his contract.
During the interview at his new club, Kizza said that his focus in the first season is to settle in as he helps the club.
“For this season, I just want to work hard, play, and get to know the team so we can get positive performances, then the results will appear. The main focus will always be to help the team, “Kizza said.
He joins a host of Ugandan players who have played in Portugal, including Kizito Luwagga, Alex Kakuba, and Edrisa Lubega, among others.
