In Uganda, Roast and Rhyme is one of those must-attend events on the social calendar. At Roast and Rhyme, is where people get together and speak one language-fun.
In the past, the event has been continuously held at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, but this time around it happened at the Source of the Nile Park gardens.
On Saturday, hundreds of attendees thronged the Nile Park grounds, and we can confirm to you that they had fun sponsored by the Mpola Mpola enjoyments.
“It’s always good to be part of this fun-filled event. The Mpola mpola enjoyments add a top-notch vibe to the event,” said Matilda Babuleka, Bell Brand Manager. En route to the venue, Bell Lager had a tent at Namawojolo and gave away free coupons.
As expected the event brought out the fashionista in everyone as people were in distinctive styles.
The organizers have, over the years, studied their target audience’s tastes in music and they speak their language.
The Abeeka band opened the performance, followed by Karol Kasita.
Zex Bilangilangi also thrilled revellers with his bangers and also invited Jose Chameloene on stage to add his legendary vibe.
Deejays also mashed up the party from 11 pm to the next morning.
