The Inspector-General of Government (IGG), Beti Kamya, has been reportedly rushed to a hospital in Kampala after she suffered a heart attack.
Sources privy to the matter reveal that Kamya was rushed to the hospital after she suffered a “sudden excruciating pain in her heart”, which made her collapse.
By press time, the IGG’s office had not yet issued an official statement about Kamya’s health condition.
Kamya was set to appear before COSASE on issues surrounding the wrangles at the Uganda Land Commission, where she served as Minister for Lands.
COSASE Chairperson Joel Ssenyonyi confirmed the news disclosing that he has received a message from the IGG’s daughter about her health condition.
