Over the weekend, city fashion enthusiast and media celebrity Bettinah Tianah quit her job as host of the NTV fashion show, The Style Project, to the shock of many fans and friends.
Through her social media pages, she shared a press release detailing the information pertaining to her resignation.
In the press release, she informed her followers that she will not be hosting the Friday evening show anymore.
“Please accept this formal notice, as I would like to inform you all that I am resigning. I won’t be returning to TV hosting or presenting on “The NTV Style Project” that airs on NTV Uganda as of this date Thursday 10th March 2022,” the media personality stated in the letter.
“I’ve been contemplating this for the past last quarter of the year 2021 due to unforeseen reasons that I would prefer to keep private. I will continue my usual roles as a content creator, influencer, model, philanthropist, CEO, and founder of BT Beauty Uganda,” she added.
In her letter, she notes that the reasons as to why she left the station are private but sources within the entertainment industry note that the beauty is being head-hunted for a juicy job at UBC.
However, other reports by a local tabloid speculate that Bettinah might be contemplating a sizzling offer from Vision Group’s Urban.
Bettinah’s career in television has come a long way as she started her journey with NBS TV’s Youth Voice before springing through the ranks and propelling herself to arguably the biggest fashion show in Uganda on NTV.
