Since March 2020, the world has struggled to adapt to and deal with COVID-19, a dangerous novel virus still with many unknowns.

However, after 24 months, Uganda’s economy fully reopened for the first time. As expected, the first day of reopening nightlife met with some anxiousness and excitement.

Many clubs and bars around Kampala experienced huge turn-ups all night long as revelers celebrated ‘freedom day’ for nightlife.
