StarTimes to broadcast all CHAN 2023 games live in 4 Different Native Languages

The 7th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) will be held from January 13 to February 4, 2023 in Algeria. StarTimes will broadcast the games live in 4 different native languages i.e. English, Luganda, Runyooro and Luo.

After the draw ceremony held at the Algiers Opera on October 1, 2022, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the competition schedule. The opening match will oppose the host country, Algeria to the Libyan selection, on January 13, 2023, at 5 p.m., at the Baraki stadium; with a capacity of 40,784 covered places, located southeast of Algiers.


Uganda was drawn in Group B together with DR Congo, Senegal and Cote D’Ivoire. Uganda cranes has failed to go past the group stages during the five times they have played in the tournament that started in 2007 but will this time try to aim higher than that during next years’ edition in Algeria.


Group C features current African hero during recent World Cup Morocco against Sudan, Madagascar and Ghana. Uganda’s opening match will be against Congo on 14th Jan, 2023 at 7:00PM.
