Bobi Wine’s bodyguard who has been missing for more than 30 days charged with damaging a “drone”

Four people including the bodyguard of Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, the leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Kavuma Jamushid, have been charged with “Malicious Damage to Property.”

Since being allegedly abducted from their place of employment in Rubaga Division, Kampala, by unidentified security operatives that were driving a drone, Kavuma Jamushid, Steven Muleme, Patrick Ahumuza, and Godfrey Marvin Kirumira have been missing for the past 32 days.

Apparently, the group was delivered to the Old Kampala Police Station on Thursday.

They appeared before the Mengo Chief Magistrates Court this morning.

And according to the charge sheet produced by Old Kampala Police, on November 5, the group willingly and unlawfully destroyed the wind screen of a vehicle with registration number UBG 160X, a Toyota Hiace commonly known as a drone, belonging to CPL Kambale Nelson.

According to NUP, more than 15 of their members have gone missing in just a month, and hundreds were still stuck in prison after they were picked up two years ago.
