The ministry of health has announced that a total of 16 people have contracted the highly contagious Ebola virus, while a further 18 people have also likely had the disease.

The outbreak has now spread to three districts (Mubende, Kyegegwa, and Kassanda).

“The Ministry of Health Rapid Response Teams remain on the ground to list and follow up on contacts for the confirmed cases,” the ministry said on Sunday.
