Sportswomen in Bwaise receive essential supplies from betting company

The community around Bwaise has a reason to smile after Pulse Bet donated essential items worth millions.

According to Persis A Maina, the Head of Marketing PulseBet, the Bwaise Slum Leadership approached them to support former sportswomen who got pregnant and failed to make it back into competitive sports.

“Some realities post-Covid-19 can be felt in the sports environment up-to-date. For us to be able to stand with these former sports women means a lot to PulseBet, said Maina.

“We are committed to supporting and working with ex-sports and current Sportsmen & women in any way we can,” she added.

Among the items handed over to the community women include soap, sugar, stoves, cooking oil, and sanitary towels among other items.
