Following the launch of the Kansai Plascon’s 11th edition of their annual Paint and Win Promotion, dubbed “The Colour Cup” edition, Uganda’s leading paint manufacturer has started rewarding members of the public for their loyalty and continuous use of Plascon products.

Over the weekend, Plascon kicked off with the first Paint & Win Show, where six random winners who had bought paint at different hardware stores won. The six winners bought paint worth more than Shs100,000 and scratched the cards given, then sent an SMS to the code 7197.

The winner who walked off with the boda boda was Nakalema Justine, who had come with her husband. Justine Nakalema had bought paint worth Shs2,000,000 to stock up her hardware store.  When she realized she had won the bodaboda with Shs100,000 in fuel, she screamed and burst into tears. Her husband was overcome with joy. He started dancing and also went to receive the boda.

Grace Lily Lamara, another female winner, said she had bought eight tins of paint to paint her late brother’s house. She bought the paint from Mukono and took it with her to Kitgum. She was so excited and said, “Let me go to Plascon & I colour my world.”

One can participate by simply buying Plascon paint worth Shs100,000, scratching the card, and SMSing the code to 7197 for a chance to win. Every week there will be 6 winners every Saturday until December 12th.
