Ugandans watching the Kenya election are like poor kids watching the rich ones eating sausages, says former presidential candidate Kabuleta

Former presidential candidate Joseph Kabuleta has said that Kenyans have done a good job in their elections and Ugandans are already admiring them.

Kabuleta compared Ugandans watching the Kenya election to poor kids in school watching the rich ones eating sausages.

“Kenyans have done a good job, and we (Ugandans) are watching the people eating Sausages (Kenyans), hoping that one day we shall be able to afford them,” said Kabuleta while appearing on NBS TV this morning.

Meanwhile, almost half of the results from Kenya’s presidential election are now confirmed, and the two main candidates are running neck and neck. Deputy President William Ruto has taken a slight lead over ex-Prime Minister Raila Odinga – 51% against 48%.

Kabuleta believes that whoever loses in Kenya will not have something good to say.

“But regardless, it is clear that the IEBC has done a commendable job,” Kabuleta said.

“People concede defeat when they know the process was free and fair,” he added.
