Next Media confirms Dalton Kaweesa as Nile Post General Manager

In an announcement that has taken many by surprise, Dalton Kaweesa has been named the General Manager of Nilepost , a subsidiary of Next Media Services Limited.

Kaweesa also doubles as the Chief News Editor of NBS TV, a post he has held since 2020 when his then boss Joyce Bagala resigned to participate in elective politics.

Quoting scripture, Kaweesa broke the great news on his social media platforms.

“So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart and guided them with his skilful hands, Psalms 78:72,” he posted.

Kaweesa joined NBS in 2014 as a presenter and news producer. Prior , to that he worked with Uganda Radio Network as the Chief Conflict War and Political Reporter from April 2012 -2013. He has also worked with Galaxy FM and dysfunctional Juice FM.

Kaweesa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English language and Literature and a Master’s degree in Journalism and communication from Makerere University.
