Mbale District Mechanical Engineer Deogratoas Akorimo has given his reasons why the district should not let him go into retirement.

Despite admitting to having clocked the mandatory retirement age of 60, Akorimo claims he has financial problems to attend to.

In his letter to the district Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Akorimo requested to be allowed to work for another two years on a contract basis.
