VIDEO: “Respect my body, you can watch but you can’t touch,” Sheebah accuses ‘respectable’ public figure of groping her

Singer Sheebah Karungi has accused a ‘respectable’ public figure of sexually assaulting her in front of her team in her car.

In a video that the singer has posted on her social media platforms, Sheebah, who seems devastated, said the incident happened over the weekend as she was resting in her car before stepping on stage.

She revealed that the said ‘respectable’ man, whom she did not mention by name, approached her car with his security detail and started acting in a perverted manner.

“I had a show. I was performing for somebody, one of those people you respect and call real role models. They pretend on TV to look good, to do good, and all that bullshit. This old pervert was trying to be funny with me in my car. He started being inappropriate in front of my team members with no shame.

I was so angry and I almost cancelled my performance. I hate perverted people but I respect my job,” Sheebah narrated.

She added, “I don’t care what you think about when you see me on stage or in any of my videos dressed the way I dress up, You better RESPECT MY BODY. It’s MINE, I get to do whatever I want to do with It. You DON’T. You can watch, but you CERTAINLY CAN’T TOUCH. “

Sheebah further warned the ‘man’ to stop misusing his power.

The Kwatako singer’s revelation comes at a time when there is an increase in incidents of fans harassing female artistes on stage.
