How do you celebrate birthdays? Is it usual or unusual? Anyway, we should all agree that some celebrations are more jovial and weird than others.
Opposition strongman, Dr. Kizza Besigye celebrated his 66th birthday yesterday. Besigye did not hold any official celebrations. Nonetheless, videos have been shared all over social media of his friends surprising him on his birthday.
Veteran journalist Simon Kaggwa Njala, however, asked Besigye to take his celebrations a notch higher.
“Kizza Besigye, you should organize a birthday run around town,” Njala asked Besigye in a tweet.
Besigye responded by saying, “You know, I prefer “walking”; I’ll be delighted if you organize a “walk around town” till our situation changes!”
