Bebe Cool’s son Alpha suffers injury setback; his trials with English premier league club hangs in balance

Singer Bebe Cool has revealed that his son Alpha Thierry Ssali will be missing out on the ‘dream’ trials that were slated to take place in two-weeks time.

Through his social media, Bebe Cool revealed that Alpha suffered an injury setback on Tuesday.

“A few weeks ago, on a trip to Spain for some exposure games, Alpha got an injury that seemed not so bad then.

On his return, the injury was handled with our Ugandan soccer doctor’s directives and it seemed OK until this morning during training, he got hit again at the same spot, “said Bebe Cool.

Bebe Cool explained that they had to go to a professional orthopedist who recommended magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

“His leg will be in a cast for six weeks,” he said.

With such developments, Bebe said that Alpha is likely to miss out on the ‘dream’ trials.

“We were expected to be in London two weeks from now for a one-month training session with an U18 premier league team, but now that opportunity will be pending,” he said.

He urged the government to give priority to the health care system that he believes is not only expensive but also not up to standard.

“So many players in different sports disciplines get injured but can’t get the right treatment because it’s so expensive. This forces the players and team doctors to resort to using ice as the only means of treatment without even scanning the injuries, which only helps temporarily, “he said.
