To those announcing me dead, I am a fighter and I am not going to die anytime soon- Kato Lubwama

Following the news announced a few weeks ago by Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko that renowned dramatist and politician, Paul Kato Lubwama, is very sick and being hospitalized in Turkey, thus drawing attention to the possibility that he might die anytime soon. However, it seems like Lubwama is slowly getting back to normal after being dispatched from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he was admitted.

In the video shared on social media by his son Conrad, Lubwama says those announcing him dead should stop because he is a fighter and he is not going to die soon and those announcing him dead should stop.

“I am a fighter and the war is just beginning. Those who are announcing me dead: I am not going to die soon, and people should stop fundraising for my hospital bills. Everything will be sorted, “Lubwama said.

Lubwama cautioned the cliques of people conning Ugandans of their money as they purportedly claim to be fundraising for his health to stop since he has family friends that will bail him out of the hospital.

The entertainer turned politician further thanked the Parliament of Uganda, mainly the speaker, deputy speaker, and leader of the opposition, for their efforts that saw him receive treatment without struggling to raise the funds.
