RDC reportedly collapses after being dropped in new reshuffle

Godfrey Tilutya, the former Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Buvuma District, is reported to have collapsed upon receiving the news that he had been dropped as RDC.

Last week, President Yoweri Museveni reshuffled the RDCs, dropping several people, including Tilutya. He had been the Buvuma RDC for less than two years. Museveni dropped Tilutya and appointed Deborah Mwesigwa, the former Jinja City RDC.

Reports indicate that Tilutya became unconscious upon receiving the news of his missing out on the list. He was rushed to the hospital, where he’s currently receiving treatment.

While commenting on the developments, Police Political Commissar AIGP Asan Kasingye urged leaders to serve and to know that what has a beginning, has an end.

Tilutya is most remembered for allegedly threatening to burn a landing site in Buvuma on the grounds that the residents spent a lot more time playing sex than engaging in productive economic activities.
