The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, has criticized Chief Justice Owiny-Dollo for attacking Baganda.

While condemning the demonstrations that took place in Seattle, US, where the fallen Speaker, Oulanyah, was hospitalized, Owiny Dollo alleged that the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, used a presidential jet to fly to Germany for treatment.

Bobi Wine has urged the public not to be shocked by the CJ’s comments.

“If the Prime Minister thinks Seattle is in the UK, why should we be surprised when the Chief Justice thinks KLM is a presidential jet?” said Bobi Wine.

He added, “Increasingly, the only qualification for a job in Museveni’s government is singing praises for his dictatorship. Everything else doesn’t matter.”

The former presidential candidate explained that the people who demonstrated were not exclusively Baganda.

He further described the statement by the Chief Justice as unfortunate saying that the person of his profile should be more uniting than divisive.
