On Sunday, Allen Asiimwe is a fashion designer under her Alyn Rosy Couture invited her nearest and dearest to celebrate her brand’s 10th birthday.
Industry “legends”, including the designer’s own parents, graced the event at Cham Towers in Kampala. The guests enjoyed Alyn’s customized cultural clothes that the models showcased on the runway.
“To celebrate the 10 years, I wanted to do it with friends, collaborators, family, and people who have supported me,” she said.
The event was fun as different people shared stories about Alyn’s journey. The majority described her as a woman of steel, as she has built her own wonderfully inviting creative world.
