As 14th February, 2022 now lies in only the memory of  many lovers, the month of love is still here and we can only gasp and wow at the couples that made the day a memorable one.

Within the celebrity circle, many tried, some impressed and only a few excelled at the valentine’s  day task.

Outstanding among these was Barbie Kyagulanyi, wife to NUP political godfather Bobi Wine.

Barbie declined the smoke and mirrors of roses, chocolates and red paraphernalia and dipped her quill into the timeless fountains of prose and poetry.

To accompany her eight-line stanza, she painted the Facebook streets with art attaching a classic throwback of the couple, in which the then-Barbie pecks a goofy cum dreadlocked Bobi Wine.

Who said new wine cannot be served in old skins?

And in a few strokes of taste, she laid down one of the richest poetry the Facebook streets saw yesterday.

“Bobi Wine, I do not wonder anymore why I get intoxicated by simply breathing you in.

You are my favorite fragrance, my garden of red roses and the buzzing bees there in.

You are my 5am morning breeze,

My full moon reflecting on the calm lake waters.

You are my resting place and if Iam anything, I am all yours. Happy Valentine’s  Day Babe.”

One fan remarked upon Barbie’s sublime offerings that the lyrical prowess indeed flows within the veins of the family.

At the desk, we are filled with nothing but admiration with just a dash of envy.
