Don’t get me wrong, we all know Valentine’s Day is one of the days to have the best sex but the huge focus on sex makes it tedious. I still believe sex is underrated but Valentine’s Day should also be about expressing love in every possible way and not just the usual ‘eat and be eaten’ gospel.

Here are some ideas to help you enjoy Valentine’s day.

Well maybe use this chance to learn the lyrics to your favourite song and sing along with your spouse or for him/her. Don’t you all miss those days when you actually knew the lyrics to your favourite songs, sorry to the 2000 babies, only the 90’s babies can relate to the song book fever. Get nostalgic with your better half and sing to them their favourite song. You can even decide to duet.

If you can afford to get a projector please do  and if you can’t worry not, you can use your phone or laptop.

Go for a drive

When was the last time you went for a drive jamming to your favourite song? Take your better half for adventure.

Imagine a drive to Namawojolo or Lukaya for that yummy roadside chicken and back. (But before you pull up that Namawojolo stunt please be certain your person loves spontaneity)

Be spontaneous; change the game from the usual dinner stuff.

A drive together is another way to bring you closer together through music choices and conversation.

Valentines Treasure Hunt

Forget about the usual delivery guy thing, make this Valentines more interesting. Give your spouses a challenge to look forward to.

Create exciting hints and a map where he/she can find the gift. The treasure is up to you. It can be a box of chocolates, dozen roses, a spa treat coupn etc.

Game Night

Women love dominating the lover’s day, how  about you allow your man enjoy the day too. Enjoying the day together will be more fun and exciting.

Is your man into gaming, surprise your man with a game challenge? There’s plenty of exciting play station games to play together, whether you’re working together or against each other is up to you.

Remember you don’t have to be good at the game, learn some few basics and try to enjoy the games.   In case you’re wondering where to take him for the challenge there’s a legit game station at UK Mall in Kabagala.

Recreate your first Valentine’s Day together.

For those who have been in a relationship for a while, it would surprise your partner to recreate your first Valentine’s date together.

Adventurous Valentines

How about going to an adventurous park with your loved one, loosen up a bit, go on that merry go round and scream your lungs out. Try zipling, paintball or even go for a pedal boat ride. Whatever you choose make it fun.

You can even choose to go for horse riding. Whatever you decide, make the day memorable.
