Bobi Wine addresses European Parliament, asks them to engage Museveni on torture, abduction of Ugandans

The National Unity Platform (NUP) Leader, Robert Kyaguanyi aka Bobi Wine has asked European Parliament to engage President Museveni to end the continued acts of human rights abuse and security violence in the country.

On Tuesday, Bobi Wine had a session with members of the European Parliament who belong to the Rescue Europe group.

Bobi Wine explained the various human rights abuses committed by the army and police against Ugandans, especially supporters of the opposition.

He urged the European Parliament through European Union to take firm action against those who undermine democracy.

“As EU, you should not be silent about what is going on in Uganda but we are not asking you to run the country because Ugandans can manage their own country,” Bobi Wine said.
