PHOTOS: Mondo turns into ‘slay Pastor’

Renowned City Pastor, Franklin Mondo Mugisha of Empowerment Centre Christian Church International, who made headlines last month when he was dragged to court by his ‘baby mama’ for refusing to pay school fees for his son, seems to have turned into a ‘Slay Pastor’ of sorts.

Mondo, who is currently globetrotting, was dragged to court by his estranged baby mama identified as Sarah Nakuya, who accuses him of refusing to pay fees for their son, whom she says was conceived years ago when the two were still dating.

However, after Nakuya run to the media, the Man of God paid the child’s school fees worth Shs280,000. Whereas his son and baby mama Nakuya are struggling, Mondo is often hanging at top hotels playing golf, enjoying snacks or partying with friends.

According to photos making rounds on social media, Mondo is seen chilling out with top international celebrities like Kofi Olomide among others.

Mondo left Uganda last year after learning that he was being hunted to answer allegations of conning over Shs4.5 billion from unsuspecting believers.

It is alleged that Mondo was running a racquet together with singers Catherine Kusasira, Maggie Kayima aka Nabbi Omukazi and Pstor Siraj Ssemanda who duped believers that they would secure bursaries for their children to study abroad and promised others to  organize business meetings between them and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, but never delivered on any of their promises.

When their victims realised that they had been duped, they dragged Mondo, Kusasira, Kayima and Ssemanda to the State House Anti-Corruption Taskforce that was headed then by Col.  Edith Nakalema.

Following Nakalema’s investigation, Pastor Ssemanda and Kayima were arrested and sent to prison on remand, while Kusasira and Mondo were released on police bond.

However, instead of reporting on his bond, Mondo fled the country via South Africa and after some weeks relocated to the United States of America and since then he has been trotting from one country to another to avoid being netted.
