Do not talk about my family; Douglas Lwanga shares glorious Mowzey Radio memories in celebration of his 37th birthday

Late January and early February leave a trail of sorrow in the hearts of many entertainment enthusiasts and music lovers.

The first two months of the year remind Ugandans of the passing of arguably one of the country’s best lyricists and vocalists, Moses Radio. Radio would be celebrating his 37th birthday today.

Radio made his mark as the most prominent and other half of the Gudlyfe duo.

Popular Entertainer Douglas Lwanga served Ugandans on Twitter a bitter reminder yesterday commemorating it as the last day Mowzey Radio left home at Neverland never to return.

On February 1st, 2018, the crooner was declared dead to the horror and shock of the entire country.

However, despite the icon’s passing, his legacy remains entrenched deep in the heart and minds of many Ugandans with many of them using late January and early February to commemorate and celebrate the life of the lyricist.

The celebrated NBS After 5 crew took time off to celebrate the icon in a conversation where they reminisced on the badman’s legacy.

Douglas Lwanga sparked off the conversation recalling the late Radio for being a fighter.

Dvj Mercy Pro further recalled an incident in the studio, in which the Gudlyfe crew was being hosted by Douglas, with Radio looking very intense.

According to Douglas, the Kampala Sun had written a story about Lillian Mbabazi, who shared love and children with Mowzey.

While interviewing Radio, Douglas asked about the story the Sun had done only for the lanky star to retaliate with a statement, “Do not speak about my family!”

Douglas Lwanga, Dvj Mercy, and Dj Roja reminisced upon these memories while on set for yesterday’s edition of their After 5 entertainment show.

This is the week that leads to Radio’s death anniversary and Ugandans across the country are celebrating the star, his life, and his artistic legacy.
