After Ugandan greatest female Emcee, Jocelyne Tracy better known as Keko appeared in an Instagram live video in a sorry state, intoxicated, with broken hair, a pale and scaly skin on Monday evening, a lot of people came out to air their worries and concerns about the greatest female rapper’s health status.

Among these people is the rapper’s former manager, Shadrack Kuteesa who claimed that the ‘Fly Solo’ single singer was a very successful artiste before moving to Canada.

While speaking in an interview on local television on Tuesday night, Shadrach says Keko is going through depression given the fact that she is not active in the music industry.

“Keko was a very successful artist while she was here. She may be going through some depression given the fact that she is not home and not active in the music industry,” Shadrach said.

Shadrach also denied allegations that he is the one who introduced the ‘This is how we do’ hitmaker to drugs saying he has never introduced the rapper to drugs.

“It was her personal decision and it will be her personal decision to quit it,” he revealed.

“When Keko started using drugs, it was on a minimal scale and besides, I did not have the moral authority to tell her to stop,” Shadrach added.

This is not the first time Shadrack is coming out over Keko’s drug woes. In 2019, in an investigation conducted by NBS journalist Canary Mugume, Shadrack attributed Keko’s career stalling to her consumption of drugs.
