A few days ago Nigerian singer David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, took to his Instagram story to ask colleagues to each send him a million naira. Apparently, the Nigerian star has so far received money over Shs2 billion in a period of three days.
On Tuesday evening, singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso asked his loyal fans to help him raise Shs100m to clear taxes for his Range Rover which he claimed was parked at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) offices.
However, things didn’t go well for the ‘Malamu’ singer. He has turned into a laughing stock on social media as a few people have been sending in money that ranged between Shs1k and below.
Last evening Pallaso informed his fans who have been sending him money that he doesn’t need the money and he has no Range Rover.
The singer revealed that he has so far collected Shs5.2m. He went ahead to share facts and fiction with his fans in a session where he has shared five facts and one fiction.
In one of the facts he shared, the singer stated the fact that there’s only one God before acknowledging the existence of real fans who wish nothing but to see you succeed. This was before advising people not to take social media seriously in what he said that a lot that is shared on social media is for fun but not real.
“Stop taking social media too serious, Nothing here is real,” Pallaso tweeted.
The singer added that; “Fiction 1. I am randomly going to give this Shs5.2m. If you want to join the draw please retweet this now,” Pallaso tweeted.
