Over the weekend Susan Kahunde 22, beat 26 other contestants to the Miss Tourism 2021/2022 crown. She takes over from Sonia Komugisha.

The 22 year old is also the reigning Miss Tourism Tooro and works as a midwife at Rukunyu Hospital. She studied from Kyebambe Girls School and has a certificate in midwifery from Tumu Medical institute. As Miss Tourism Tooro, Kahunde has been involved in different outreaches in her region.


West Nile region took up the first runner spot while Buganda region got the second runner. Phiona Opia, the first runner holds a diploma in Agri-business management from Bukalasa Agricultural college and the second runner up Ms Rashidah Namukwaya is a student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University Business School.
